Has anyone had their reception at Madison Turner's Hall? We're looking to book it but it seems like there are many inconstancies with pricing. The person we've talked to keeps changing their mind on some of the prices. There have been HUNDREDS of Dollars in random fees that we weren't told about. We never received a price list before we signed the contract - stupid of us, we know- but every thing was supposed to be included "taken care of" by them for the straight price of $700.00. Since we've not seen any kind of price list or policy list, we have no idea what charges are coming next. I have another three months to get out of my contract and I'm looking for other options. I'd really appreciate ANY comments you might have. I completely recommend going I a different direction if you’re considering this Hall.
I had my wedding reception at Madison's Turner Hall and it was wonderful! The personalized service we recieved was invaluable. As far as the pricing, they were very reasonable and we did check out other halls in the area. I suggest everyone check out this hall as it is the best place to have a wedding reception in Madison. They also have a preferred caterer's list which made it very easy for us to pick a great caterer too. Give them a call and you will find out this is a super place to hold your party!
Terrible service by manager. Held our wedding here and got ripped off in the service department. I couldn't believe the add on charges and the rudeness that our guests recieved from manager, who often acted like a drill sargeant not a host. What is worse, she ate at my head table while our wedding was going on, yelled at my band to keep the music down and took one of our cakes at the end of the night without asking me! As a person in the business, I have to queston the integrity of this operation highly and would not reccommend it to anyone.
