Ngaire West-Hemmen has been shooting weddings since 1999 and photographing people since 1990. Ngaire received her BFA at Iowa State University in 1993. She has shot for Sears Portrait Studio, Olan Mills, the Ames Tribune, and the Des Moines Register.

Images by Ngaire (formerly Ngaire Hemmen Photography) is available for children’s and family portraits indoors or out, and weddings anywhere in the United States. Images by Ngaire is located in Ames Iowa and will travel with no fee for weddings within a 60 mile radius of Ames

"I swore that I would ‘never’ shoot weddings...that was 6 years ago. Never say never! That’s my motto now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE weddings! It is such a pleasure and an honor to be involved in the most important day of so many people’s lives. I wouldn’t have it any other way! If there’s one purpose for my life, it is to have a little sticker on the backs of my photographs in some happy couple’s attic. That thought makes me feel like I have ‘lived’...and meant something to many."
