In 1991, I had a neighbor who had a professional recording studio invite me to record some of my songs in his studio. I did and I had my first recordings for promotional purposes. In 1992, while staying in a condo in Kauai, Hi, I took a shuttle, (along with all the other guests), to a local karaoke bar. There I sang some Elvis songs. One guy said to me, "where did you learn to do this?" He was very impressed.

In 1993, I was at a party at the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage. There they had an Elvis impersonator, (who performs all over California. I came up and sang a song or two, when he opened it up for karaoke singing. After I sang, he came up to me and told me that I have the talent to start in the business.
