Perfect.. professional .. piper
We were going to give my oldest sister a surprise birthday party. She had always said that when she died she wanted bagpipes played. I thought " why wait until she dies?" Let's get a piper for her party she she can enjoy them. I actually just googled pipers . As this was a somewhat small event, I wasn't sure if a piper would play for a small intimate group.. I was guessing we would have between 20 to 40 guests ... we ended up with 42. Rufus said he had no problem playing for a small group. He communicated well with me from the beginning to end. He asked me what he should play, and I said , I don't know.. something jovial when she gets out of her car.. and that's exactly what he did. When we served her cake, I wanted him to play happy birthday.. he advised me that it would be loud in the house.. so he stood at the open doorway to diffuse, the loudness a little. He was so easy to get a long with, and my family members had a great time talking to him. I could not have been any more pleased with his professionalism, and his easiness to work with. I will definitely call him any time I need a piper. Also.. I live in Columbus Indiana, and he drove from Indianapolis
