Richie Marin (owner) started performing and choreograhing in plays and musicals such as ,Cabaret, West Side Story, Evita, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, No, No, Nanettete, Music Man, A Chorus Line, Sophisticated Ladies in Norway, Phantom, Gypsy and many more. He has toured nationaly with Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre programs, inspiring youth and adults to make healthy choices. He has also toured nationaly and internationaly with Contra-Tiempo, an urban latin dancepany based in Los Angeles,CA. Richie Marin attended the Los Angeles Theatre Academy conservatory to study acting and directing and was a finalist for the Irene Ryan actingpetition. He has appeared on televison in variousmercial spots.
Trained as a ballroom dancer and teacher at Arthur Murray dance studios where he learned the Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Cha-cha, Merengue, Tango, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop and Salsa. Richie began teaching choreography for quinces, sweet sixteen, weddings in 2001. He felt there was a need to teach real ballroom and dance to youth and adults because most of the events he had witnessed had no real dancing.
