Welcome to Shital Arts.
Let us make your events and parties the most unique and memorable one!!!

How about calling a Henna Tattoo Artist at your events/ parties??? We have traditional henna artists from India working with us here in USA.

Reasons why we feel it would be awesome:
1. We have had henna artists do designs on people in events and parties ... and the results are amazing ... some of the spiritual designs on your body really enhances internal peace and tranquility.
2. Even after the event ... the henna design stays for 2 – 3 weeks ... so people will not forget about the event the next morning ... and by the time the design is gone ... it will be time for your next event.
3. The artist can even make a small design on the wrist as soon as each member enters the room ... kind of signature of your event.
4. Most important point ... after the event ... other people will see these designs on the people who attended your event ... will definitely ask where they got it ... and that way the word of your event spreads fast.

Totally offbeat and very unique!!!

Here’s some more info about Henna:
The art of Mehndi (Henna) has existed for centuries. Mehndi is associated to lot of things - a good dark design is a sign of good luck for the marital couple. No Indian wedding is ever complete without the Mehndi. It is an ancient Indian Body Art. It is used in creating intricate ethnic or contemporary designs and exotic patterns on various parts of the body, though traditionally applied to the hands and feet of women preparing for special ceremonies. Once thought only for women, men are finding it a nice alternative to permanent tattoos. But now both men and women enjoy the "temporary tattoo". The process of applying henna in this manner is called 'Mehndi', an ancient ritual and art form dating back 5,000 years and is considered good luck in India, Middle East and North Africa. Whichever part of the country the bride may be from; her hands are adorned with the lovely red hue of the Mehndi.

Besides Henna Tattoos we also offer classes and services for Hata Yoga and Bharatnatyam (Indian Classical Dance)

Hatha Yoga - The Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the most authoritative scripture of hatha yoga, opens by telling us that for those who cannot practice yoga (means raja yoga and implies those who cannot meditate successfully and therefore cannot control their mind) should practice hatha yoga. The "raison d'etre" for this practice is to enable the practitioner to control his mind through techniques aimed at controlling the physical body and the prana or vital force. It is noteworthy that the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and other hatha yoga scriptures go to great lengths to enumerate the health benefits of the different practices. This indicates the therapeutic nature of this system as well. Hatha yoga can therefore been practiced as a holistic spiritual lifestyle as well as a specific healing method. Of the two we believe that the former is more important but the best is to combine both approaches.

Bharatnatyam - Indian culture today has a distinct identity enlivened through Temple traditions. Indian dance forms associated with the evolution and development of Temple arts speak volumes of the great cultural endeavor. Indian dance forms as practiced today have captured global attention sensitizing the Indianness in all the cultural vistas of the world. India offers a number of classical dance forms, each of which can be traced to different parts of the country. Each form represents the culture and ethos of a particular region or a group of people. The most famous classical forms are BHARATANATYAM of Tamilnad, KATHAKALI and MOHINIYATTAM of Kerala, ODISSI of Orissa, KATHAK of Uttar Pradesh, KUCHIPUDI of Andhra Pradesh and MANIPURI of Manipur.
