Whether you desire full service event assistance from start to finish or something in between, we will together to customize an affordable plan to make that special day an unforgettable one.
In 1994 Cara and Joel Weiss started Save the Date, an Event Planning Company that broke the traditional mold of party planning and coordinating. By educating clients, and keeping clients on the right track to the proper vendors and venues, Save the Date moves away from the traditional full service, (we will plan your party for you-just show up) to allowing the client to plan their party their way with confidence, and without breaking the bank. Our services consist of an annual club membership that includes unlimited meetings and consultations as you progress towards your big day. For those clients whose events are around the corner, we offer low hourly rates for consultations. In addition to annual and hourly rates, Save the Date offers day of services so clients can relax and enjoy what they created while we help keep everything on schedule.
In 2006 Save the Date added a center piece consignment division to their company whereby clients can sell or donate used center pieces and décor. Lastly at Save the Date we have always strongly encouraged our clients to give back to the community by donating used and unused party favors and décor to children’s hospitals and senior group homes. Over the last few years at several Bar and Bat Mitzvahs during the traditional candle lighting ceremony clients were encouraged to make donations on behalf of the honorees lighting the candle, again just another touch that clients may not think of at the party that we strongly encourage.
