Gloria Boyden started Events by Design in 1988 serving clients in Northwest Indiana and Chicago with invitations for weddings and all occasions. In 1998 she joined the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) as a consultant member. After completing the professional development Program with tests and projects, she became a Professional Wedding Consultant ™.

As an educator, Gloria has always believed in the importance of education for any profession. She has attended numerous Business of Brides conferences including Atlanta, San Diego, San Jose, Colorado Springs, Orlando and more.

In 2004 she moved, through experience and expertise, to the level of Accredited Bridal Consultant™. In 2007, with over 10 years’ membership in the Association of Bridal Consultants, Gloria completed all requirements of experience, testing, essays and a live presentation to a panel of Master Bridal Consultants (MBC) to become a Master Bridal Consultant™. In that year, there were only 47 MBC™ out of a membership of 4,800 worldwide.
