I was a kid in a friends basement with a couple of trays of photographic chemicals and some light-sensitive photographic paper and BOOM!! ...I

was hooked on the magic of PHOTOGRAPHY.

I was first published while in my sophomore year of high school with a double page spread in the high school yearbook . Later, I was the photographer for the high school newspaper and yearbook.

Got out of the active duty Navy and went to work for the Government as a Photographer , but stayed in the Navy Reserves for the fellowship of being around other fellow Photographers in the area. I am close to Annapolis, Maryland, and do most of my Weddings in the Anne Arundel County area, trying my best not to enter into Baltimore or Washington, D.C.

As I do very little advertising, most of my wedding business is by word-of-mouth. I operate very low key at the wedding-my attitude is the guests should be watching the Bride and Groom, not some "dummy' photographer trying to make a nuisance of himself.

I prefer to start where the Bride is getting dressed about an hour before she plans to leave for the Church where I usually photograph the ceremony from the back using high speed film and a telephoto lens to remain as unobtrusive as possible.

After the ceremony the altar photographs only take about 15 minutes-then some nice photographs of the Bride and Groom outside-then we're off to the reception.

Again, at the reception I am very low key, moving in, getting the shot, and getting out of the enjoy your reception, not be bothered by that "dummy" photographer as stated above.

There are some photos that are set-up but most are candid shots so you can actually enjoy your reception, family and guests.

I only photograph one wedding a day and operate on a first come-first serve is due the day of the wedding.

I use medium format photographic equipment (Hasselblad camera) and always carry back-up equipment.

Wedding day is a big party for the Bride and Groom, family and friends and it is my responsibility to record the , families get together for weddings and funerals and I don't do funerals.
