Surrounded by a grove of stately live oaks, the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion is one of the Gulf Coast's grandest Antebellum Mansions. When it was built in 1855 by Judge John Bragg, the home was the center of the lively social life of the cotton port of Mobile. Today the mansion is the most photographed building in Mobile and offers a rare glimpse of life as it was lived in the Old South.

The mansion features spacious rooms, including the front hall, large double parlors, lavish dining room, all with stenciled mouldings. It is furnished with exquisite draperies, fine oil paintings, and antique furniture.

The Bragg Mitchell Home may be rented for weddings, receptions, private parties, or corporate functions.

The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion provides the ideal backdrop for your storybook wedding.
