My friend once asked me what I would do if I wasn't a hairstylist and I couldn'te up with anything to say that was a real job. I love doing hair! I am also an Associate Technical Trainer for L'Oreal Professionnel which allows me the most advanced training on a consistent basis. Plus, you the client get the edge on trends first before I even teach the classes at other salons around the midwest. This way when you start to see your haircut cloned around every corner we are already a step ahead of the game! What game you ask? I chose to work for L'Oreal Professionnel because of it's European link to fashion and also it's innovation in technologies from being the first to invent salon hair color in 1907 to revolutionizing hair color in 2010 with INOA - permanent hair color with out ammonia. When I meet a new client so many factors go in to creating their look. I consider face shape, skin tone, lifestyle, and also the clients ideas, their personality, and current trends. Then I go over the finishing touches such as what the best eyeglasses would be and what shape accessories fit best. Last but not least I teach them how to recreate the look at home. With my current clientele I help them revise their look seasonally to keep their style current and fresh. I serve a broad range of clientele for color, and cutting, and I have specialized in hair extensions for 7 years now. Bombshell Bettys Salon is a great atmosphere for my clients and I.
