I have been the owner and operator of Expression's Photography and Video Service for the past 19 years. Although photographic styles have changed I can proudly say I have grown with the times and exhibit this within my style and work.
With the demand for black and white photographyes a request for a natural style. I have learned to incorporate a more sensitive tasteful flow to my images, which always exhibit a romantic style.
I am proud to say that I have recently had the good fortune of being named Photographer of the Year by the Professional Photographers of Greater New York&trade . This award is bestowed to the most aplished photographer and places high value on ethics and setting a fine example for the industry. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious awards given to an individual. The award was presented in January 2000.
As an aplished wedding photographer and portrait artist, I have had the opportunity of having many of my portraits judged and selected for publication. The portrait Finishing Touch was selected and placed in the Loan Collection Series in 1999. These are selected as the finest Images produced by photographers nationally. Angelic Harmony has also appeared in the General Collections book in 1998. Both these images were nationally judged and selected for the highest quality standard in photographic portrait work. They were deemed the very best images of the entries to nationalpetition.
As a dedication to the industry, I have served twice as President of the Professional Photographer's of Greater New York. I have also been recently awarded a CPP or certification by the Professional Photographers of America. Only a handful of photographers hold this certification due to the rigorous test given which involves technical ability and extensive knowledge. The exam was brought forth by the professional photographers of America to elevate the standards of the industry. After receiving the Certification you are eligible for a Photographic Master's Degree. This was achieved in 2000 and received at the National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Although accolades are achievements, the greatest reward is the ability to touch the lives of many. I take pride in the ability to capture the soul of my clients. The enjoyment of handling special portrait to your client is satisfying for I am creating a legacy of fond memories for family and loved ones.
