For some people, the automobile represents a manufacturing livelihood. The impact that they have had on Americam History and culture is rich and varied.

The museum is located in Kokomo, IN where generations of families made their living, working at Chrysler or Delco. This once automotible driven town, affectionatelt named the City of Firsts, is home to Elwood Haynes, who along with the Apperson Brothers, built the USA's first gasoline-powered car in .

Whatever memories you have of time gone by, we're sure there's a certain automobile, and a car or truck that brings back a special time in your life! One of these cars that bring back special memories of the past may very well be on display at the Kokomo Automotive Museum!

In addition to the more than antique cars, we also have, for those those who appreciate it, a large collection of  vintage clothing, advertising, and antiques. We have collected and added signage and variety of memorabilia relevant to the history of the cars on display. Take a step back in time and enjoy the s diner and gas station diorama!

Our gift shop offers a wide variety of souvenirs to mark your day at the museum. Bring back those memories at Kokomo Automative Museum, and enjoy a presentation of some of the finest cars and trucks to be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are not only of significance historically, they are also fine works of art!
