At Lowrance Photography you are more than a customer. I seek to develop a long term studio/client relationship by offering my clients the highest level of customer service. I love to participate with my skill and talent to become an important part of my client's lives. Personalized attention to your very special day is my speciality. You will have me, David Lowrance, at your initial meeting, your pre-planning session, at your wedding, computerized proof viewing, album selection and album building. I will work closely with you in planning your photography. While I can have assistants who help me at weddings and take photographs, I do not use "stringers" or "associate" photographers in my place.

Lowrance Photography's pricing system for wedding photography allows the client to customize the wedding package to fit almost any wedding and budget. By combining classic portraiture with photojournalistic coverage I am able to deliver a picture story of your wedding. This picture story will capture the mood and personality of your wedding at a price to fit your budget. Lowrance Photography uses a state-of-the-art system which allows you to view your proofs on a large computer monitor in the studio and order prints or put together your album easily and quickly. A Digital Wedding Album showing your wedding photos is also available for your computer or VCR. We can also post your wedding images on our website so you, your friends and relatives can view and order prints.

Lowrance Photography also offers a variety of album choices as well as wall portraits and desktop folios. We can shoot engagement photos with retouched color or black & white prints available the next day. I am a Certified Professional Photographer by the Professional Photographers of America and a member of the Metroplex and Texas Professional Photographers Associations. I have studied at the Texas School of Professional Photography under world renowned photographers and continually update my knowledge and style through monthly study. I am insured for both accidents and photography failure. I use professional quality digital camera equipment for the wedding. I have backups for all my camera and lighting equipment. Digital wedding photography has many advantages over film. Many times the mixture of lighting sources make it difficult for film to capture the image accurately. With digital, I can immediately see if the image was captured correctly. Many times I can check for "blinks" and bad expressions immediately and reshoot if necessary. I am also free to shoot more images without having to worry about film and processing costs. Previously digital shooting at weddings was not used because the cameras did not perform well in poor lighting, did not provide good enlargements and were slow to operate. Modern Professional digital cameras have solved those problems. Digital images may be cropped, retouched, color corrected or converted to black & white easier and less expensively than with negatives. Most film laboratories are going to digital printing even off of negatives so that the negatives have to be scanned before being printed. By shooting directly to digital the process is simplified.
