How long in advance do I need to book a reservation?
Obviously, the earlier a date is requested, the greater the chance of availability. Still, Make it Reel can accept reservations 10 days prior to your event.

Does the base time of three hours include necessary setup and break down times?
The three hour time period is fully designated as show time. Make it Reel will come approximately 45 minutes before a show, and may leave approximately an hour after a show. Make it Reel will use most of the after-hour to complete assembly and put the finishing touches on your guest's CDs.

Will Make it Reel help coordinate the show with the activities commencing in the event hall?
Absolutely. Make it Reel Engineers will constantly be in touch via two-way radios, thus allowing perfect coordination between the event and our show. Make it Reel will create an outline of the event with your help prior to our performance. Make it Reel's karaoke service primarily caters to the likes of teenagers, and so, we constantly update our library each month with the latest chart hitting songs. We will admit, we do not stock as expansive a library as traditional karaoke services because of our main audience, however we do have a library of hits from old favorites such as The Beetles, Frank Sinatra, Elvis and many others. A song list is available upon request, and special requests by the host will be accommodated..

What is the Make it Reel song library like?
On your CDs, Make it Reel can place a recorded message on the first track, so that you can leave a thought with your guests every time they play it. Make it Reel requires however that the message be submitted 15 days prior to the event. To record the message, Make it Reel will make arrangements to meet (preferably at the site) and record a message on our portable digital recorder.

What coordination needs to take place for the design of the CD packaging?
What exactly is the option that allows my personal message on every CD?
Each project will be designed uniquely, and therefore, you will be the primary say in what you do and do not want. Once we receive basic guidelines from you, we will then design a proof, and either e-mail it, post it on our web site in a special section, fax it to you, or mail it through the postal serivce. You may submit photos to Make it Reel either electronically or through postal mail. Make it Reel will return your photos.
