Children's Party Themes

We provide opportunities for children learn about nature in an up close, but safe environment. We offer services to birthday parties, classroom events, scout activities, festivals and fairs, school programs, corporate functions, private parties, and family reunions. For your special event, we offer several different types of animals, including various snakes, pythons, boas, crocodiles, alligators, tortoises, turtles, scorpions, arachnids, monitor lizards, tegus and other various lizards. We can also bring birds!

Party Room
If you want to host your party, the Scales and Tails party room provides the perfect environment. The party room includes a two-hour use of the room, a private tour guide and admission for up to 15 guests of any age. A party facilitator helps coordinate your event. Guests can bring their own cake and decorations, and parents are allowed to come in 15 minutes prior to reserved time in order to set up. We also have a special deal with Big Daddy’s Pizza right next door to our facility if you’d like to have us arrange for pizza delivery.

Packages
Our traveling animal packages include skits, songs, and stories. Presentations are tailored for each age group, making this a fun experience for all ages. Packages include reptile shows, bird shows, bug shows and more. We also can provide animal exhibits, animal wrangling services, and animals for rent.
Private Tours provide an opportunity for your guests to explore many of the animals after hours. They will be scheduled when we are closed to the public.
General Admission Tours provide an opportunity to meet and greet with many of our animal ambassadors at a fraction of the cost. You will be assigned a tour guide who along with other members of the general public and given a chance to look, pet and hold many of our reptiles. (We do not typically have general public hold our birds.) Please check our website to obtain our schedule, and our current booking and touring fees.

Reptile Show Packages start small and work their way up in both quantity of animals and number of premium animals that will be included. They are listed as the toddler show, teaser show, medium show, large show. Packages start at $300. A Bird show is also available that includes a variety of birds from around the world. You can combine the large reptile show and the bird show for a discounted rate. Animal exhibits add a great addition to your event for guests who absolutely adore looking at the various animal types. If you want your event to be unique with an animal exhibit or a mini zoo experience, please reach out for pricing. Animals for rent - animals can be rented for photo shoots, commercials, dog training experiences and film. Will include a professional animal wrangler on set. Prices vary.

We charge travel fees outside the Salt Lake Valley. Please inquire. Sound systems can be rented upon request for an additional $50.
