Wedding Singers

Imagine a seasoned soprano, well-versed, rehearsed, and educated   in the arts of vocal performance, entertaining at your wedding. With many operatic appearances of note, some including the title role in Princess Ida, the Countess from Le nozze di Figaro, Marguerite of Faust , Mrs. Fezziwig in New York City's premiere of Scrooge , and Gianni Schicchi's Ciesca. As Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus and Anezka in The Two Widows , Ms. Horowitz has also played Mrs. Which in Libby Larsen's rendition of A Wrinkle in Time .  She is currently studying under Sherry Overholt and performing as a soloist at the Falmouth Jewish Congregation.

Receiving her masters in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, she was awarded the Wayne Newton Music Scholarship for her studies there. The Boston Globe reviewed her role as Noemie in Massenet's Cendrillon and went on record, stating that Stephanie Horowitz had fun as the wicked stepsister, twirling pearls, eating chocolates, and checking teeth for lipstick stains.  

As a lover of musical theatre, in , Ms. Horowitz won the Five Towns Music and Art Foundation's Young Artistpetition. Some of her favorite roles are her stints as Frenchie in Cabaret, Gilmer in Godspell, and Trina of the Falsettos. A featured performer in Cabaret clubs, she's performed at the Duplex, the Metropolitan Room and Piano's Bar & Grill. She's always been a jazz fan and shows her appreciation by singing for the s vocal trio, The Boop Troupe, and gladly performs with the South Shore Syncopators. Famed Jazz artist, John Hendricks has even mentioned her great chops and vocal control .

*With a teaching certification through SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music and a bachelor's degree in Music Education, Ms. Horowitz is also happy to provide music lessons for all lovers of lyric.
