Together, you and the stylist will decide on a look that will work best with your hair, tierra and gown. Your hair texture and formation is very important in choosing a look for you. The stylist will expertly design and create the most flattering and lasting hair style for you to wear on your wedding day.

Each makeup artist has been trained to know the different techniques used to give a women the most sheer and natural look to the most dramatic look and every look in between. A professional makeup application will make all the difference as to the way your makeup will look and last on your wedding day.

Each makeup artist has a professional make up kit that is designed to match all skin tones and skin types. We use Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup, "The Skin Care Makeup". We use Jane Iredale Mineral makeup because it contains natural ingredients. It contains pure minerals without any talc, fillers or perservitives. It is actually healthy for your skin. It is water resistent and works wonderfully with photography.

I choose to use Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup for many reasons. Throughout my many years of working with makeup, I have tried water base, mineral base, and other professional lines. I have been using Jane Iredale for 6 years now and I must say it is the "Rolls Royce" of makeup. It is not only for everyday use, but is actually healthy for your skin.

I have done alot of research on mineral make up and have come across many other mineral makeup lines which are filled with talc, corn starch, fillers, and preservatives. One of the leading "over the counter" mineral makeups supposedly lists the ingredients on the packaging. However, once you read the insert in very very fine print, it states the number one ingredient is "talc". It also contains less than 1% actual minerals.

Airbrush makeup seems to be "the in thing" now days. It sounds so sophisticated doesn't it? When I started to check into Airbrush makeup I was very surprised with the results. Airbrush makeup is a solvent in a liquid used in formulation to suspend the pigment and resin and transports them through the airbrush apparatus. The solvent evaporates and leaves a cosmetic film behind.

When the makeup artist applies this makeup, it is recommended that they wear a mask. When applying airbrush makeup the applier should never paint in open eyes, nose, or ear canals. They should use cotton balls or cotton swabs. Below is a sample of airbrush makeup ingredients and their purposes:  

Acrylates Copolymer-film former (resin or binder)

Diazolidinyl urea- perservative

Methylparben-perservative

Propylparaben-perservative

Polyvinyl acetate-film former (resin)

After reviewing the ingredients, which I would not want put on my face, I came to the conclusion that it is better to continue to use a product that is pure, perservative free and healthy for the skin. The end results can't compare.

Your wedding day is such a special day. I would want to look flawless in person and in photographs, as well as having healthy skin by using a professional pure makeup line. Jane Iredale a makeup line that I could wear on a daily basis and look flawless everyday.
