Award Winning Pianist James Lent is a professional and highly talented pianist that will enhance your next event with spectacular piano music.
New York Concert Artist Guild winner James Lent enjoys performing classical, jazz, pop, broadway, and your favorite selections that will soothe and dazzle listeners at any occasion! He has the Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from Yale University and since 2003 has been the principal collaborative pianist at the newly established full-scholarship Colburn Conservatory and School for the Performing Arts in downtown Los Angeles, across from Disney Hall.
James' numerous awards include prizes in the International New York Concert Artists Guild Competition , the National Chopin Competition, the Washington International Piano Competitions at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the Olga Koussevitsky Piano Competition in New York City, the Houston Symphony Ima Hogg National Young Artist Competition, and the title of Top Instrumentalist in the World Championships for the Performing Arts in Burbank, CA.
